Premium Parking

Premium Parking on the Peel 5 Upper Car Park offers larger parking bays (5m x 3m) for added convenience, the ability to pre-book your spot, and an exclusive parking experience located next to one of the shopping centre’s main entrances by Selfridges.

Additionally, the Premium Car Park currently offers two additional services:

1. Premium Valet Parking – drop your car off at the purple bays and our trained staff will park it in a secure place and then return it to you at the grey bays by the Premium Parking Kiosk when you have finished your visit to the Trafford Centre.

2. Car wash and valeting services while you shop. See all the FAQ’s for more info.

You can book a Premium Parking spot through our website. Select your preferred date and time, and complete the booking process. You can also add a car wash / valeting service or valet parking to your booking for added convenience either on the website or on arrival.

Pre-booking isn’t required and subject to availability, you can arrive on the day and pay on exit.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes early, this will be treated by the system as a separate booking.
Please speak to a member of staff on arrival at the kiosk in the premium car park by the purple bays and they will reslove the situation.

The Premium Car Park is located on the Peel 5 Upper Car Park.

On entering the car park, if you have selected the Premium Valet or Car Wash / Valeting services please head to the purple bays. If you have selected the premium parking (park & walk) service please park in an available red bay and then walk into the centre.

You can contact our customer support team via phone 0161 749 1614, email at or in person at the Premium Parking kiosk that is located in the Premium car park. Our support team is available during operating hours to assist you.

It is not currently possible to modify your booking prior to arrival. If you need to stay longer than you booked time, then that is possible and you will be charged on exit for any additional hours or part thereof.

There is no cancellation fee if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Please see our terms and conditions for instructions on how to cancel your booking.

If you arrive late, your reserved spot will still be available for the duration of your booked time.

You can stay beyond your booked time slot, but you will be charged for the additional time on exit.

Premium Parking size bays are 3m x 5m and designed to accommodate larger vehicles, including 4x4s, SUVs and pick-up trucks. However, there is a height restriction of 2.1m and vehicles exceeding standard dimensions (e.g., oversized trucks) should contact customer service to confirm space availability.

Upon arrival, the ANPR cameras will automatically read the number plate, if you have made a booking online the barriers will automatically open.

If you arrive on the day without pre-booking and there is still availablity in the car park, then barriers will open. Your vehicle registration number will be your booking reference and you will be able to pay on exit at the paystations inside by the escalators or the the card readers situated just before the exit barriers.

Premium Parking areas are equipped with 24/7 CCTV cameras, onsite security personnel, and controlled access to ensure the safety of your vehicle.

If you want to stay longer than your booked time, this is of course okay. You will be charged for any additional hours on exit.

In the highly unlikely situation that all red parking bays in the premium car park are occupied, please contact our on-site staff in/by the premium parking kiosk and we will resolve the issue promptly.

Loyalty programs are being considered. Please check back in the near future.

We accept credit/debit cards, and contactless payments. We can process cash payments, however this is not the preferred option. *AMEX isn’t accepted.

Once you leave the car park via the exit barriers, your booking session is considered as ended. If you wish to return, a new booking for the day will be required or if you re-enter via the entrance barriers this will be treated by the system as a new ad hoc booking linked to your registration number.

Premium VALET parking

Valet Parking allows you to drop off your car right in front of the entrance, in and dedicated large purple bays and under a canopy to ensure you stay dry.

Our professional staff will park your car in a secure area, and you can request your car back when you’re ready to leave. We also offer car wash and valeting services for an additional charge while your car is parked.

You can request your car back by texting our dedicated line and a valet attendant will bring your car to the entrance / the grey collection bays. If you have added a car wash or valeting service, your car will be returned freshly cleaned.

The Valet Parking drop-off point is conveniently located by the eastern entrance to Selfridges on Upper Peel Avenue Car Park. Please park in one of the large purple bays under the canopy by the Premium Parking Kiosk. A staff member will meet you.

Valet Parking is available from 9am Mon-Sat, from 10am on Sundays.

Valet Parking is priced at £25 for the whole duration of the stay. Please refer to our pricing page for detailed information. Additional charges apply for car wash and valeting services.

Payment can be made through our website (if pre-booking) or on departure at the pay stations inside by the escalators or on the card terminals at the exit barriers.

Yes, you can pre-book Valet Parking through our website. Pre-booking guarantees your spot and allows you to add a car wash or valeting service.

Yes, you can request a car wash or valeting service when you drop off your car. Our team will take care of cleaning and detailing your vehicle while you shop.

If you arrive outside of your scheduled time, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, including adjustments to any booked car wash or valeting services.

The premium car park including valet parking and car valeting / cleaning services can by used by electric vehicles.

Currently there are no charging stations in the Premium Car Park. We are exploring options to install EV charging points. Please check back in the near future.

Premium VALET CLEAN

Premium Car Valeting is a comprehensive cleaning service for your vehicle, both inside and out. It involves meticulous attention to detail using high-quality products like Autoglym® to ensure your car looks, feels, and smells like new.

We offer a variety of services including:

– Luxe Package (£89): All Premium services plus deep cleaning of floor mats, leather treatment, and plastic conditioning.
– Ultra Package (£217): All Luxe services plus full interior shampoo and engine bay cleaning.
