Premium Parking on the Peel 5 Upper Car Park offers larger parking bays (5m x 3m) for added convenience, the ability to pre-book your spot, and an exclusive parking experience located next to one of the shopping centre’s main entrances by Selfridges.

Additionally, the Premium Car Park currently offers two additional services:

1. Premium Valet Parking – drop your car off at the purple bays and our trained staff will park it in a secure place and then return it to you at the grey bays by the Premium Parking Kiosk when you have finished your visit to the Trafford Centre.

2. Car wash and valeting services while you shop.

H2O Car Valeting provides a wide range of premium, convenient valeting services. Whether you need an interior deep clean, intensive paintwork protection, a high definition wax or just a quick wash and wax, we have a treatment to leave your pride and joy gleaming and smelling like new. And if you’re not sure which service is right for you, the fantastic customer service team will point you in the right direction.

Parent & child parking

Our car parks provide easy, safe and direct access into the centre for shoppers with little ones. There are plenty of parent and child spaces in all of the car parks.

Disabled parking

We have plenty of designated parking spaces in all the Centre car parks. Most sites are within easy reach of the main entrances. Centre Security personnel patrol the car parks and will deal with any parking abuse of the spaces set aside for customers with disabilities.

Mobility Services

Our Mobility Services scheme at Guest Services is located adjacent to the Blue Badge spaces in Regent Crescent car park 13.

Located about five miles west of Manchester city centre, Trafford Centre’s coach park has been recently reinstated to offer free parking for up to 27 coaches, seven days a week.

Trafford Centre has 18 car parks and 11,500 parking spaces including disabled, parent and child spaces and EV charging. Passenger lifts and escalators give easy access from each car park directly to the shopping centre.

As well as easy access by car from the M60 motorway with free parking, Trafford Centre is also accessible by Metrolink tram, nearby train stations, a dedicated bus station, secure cycle parking and an on-site private hire taxi service.

Let’s face it, shopping can be dull for little ones…but not at The Trafford Centre. Here, you can collect a Fun Buggy to keep them entertained!

You’ll find Fun Buggies available to hire at our Guest Services lounge located in lower Regent Crescent in the corridor close to M&S and the Namco link on the lower Orient. These are miniature cars which are great for keeping the kids smiling while you shop. You can even hire a life size Playmobil fire engine or police car!

Tips for parents

Teach your child to recite their name, address and telephone number.

Sew or write their surnames only in any clothing.

Encourage young children to stay close and hold your hand or trolley.

Make sure that children know that Trafford Centre staff wear red polo shirt, red gilet and black trousers and also Trafford Centre name badges.

If you have lost a child inside a store, enquire at the nearest till. If on the malls ask a member of The Trafford Centre staff or at a Customer Services Desk.

Children remain your responsibility. Please DO NOT leave them unsupervised, especially when using lifts and escalators.

If you are little and lost

STOP, stand still and LOOK around. DO NOT run around.

If you see the person you came with, go straight back to them and hold their hand.

If you cannot see the person you came with go straight to the till if you are in a shop.

If you are out in the malls look for a member of Trafford Centre staff who has a red polo shirt, red gilet and black trousers and name badge on.

When a nappy needs changing, mummy needs a rest, or a toddler needs taming, our parent and baby rooms are on hand to give you a calming and peaceful environment.

Here at The Trafford Centre you’ll find baby changing facilities, nappy dispensers and private areas for feeding – all conveniently located in all the main toilet areas.

Left your buggy at home? No problem. Pushchairs can be hired in the centre.

Pushchairs can be hired at the Guest Services Lounge on lower Regent Crescent. There is a refundable £20 deposit required as well as proof of ID.

All our toilets located in The Orient Food Court, lower Regent Crescent and upper Peel Avenue have dedicated disabled toilets including assisted change facilities.

Once you have finished using your wheelchair mobility scooter, we ask if you can kindly return it to the Guest Services Lounge, if you have somebody with you that is able to do this.

Prefer a quieter shopping experience? Join us for Quiet Hour every Wednesday from 10am – 11am. All our stores and restaurants take simple steps where possible to create a more autism-friendly experience, such as turning down music and dimming bright lights.
