  • Helpdesk & Permit Controller

    40hrs The Helpdesk and Permit Coordinator works within the Facilities Management team, primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Centre’s helpdesk systems and the coordination of permit processes. As a key member of the team, you will act as the central point of contact for all permit requests, ensuring that all necessary approvals and documentation are processed efficiently, maintaining a secure and compliant environment for both staff and external contractors.

    Your role will involve working closely with contractors, service providers, and internal departments to manage and track service requests, ensuring that all operational activities adhere to statutory compliance and health and safety regulations. You will oversee the CAFM system and other relevant software to ensure the accurate input and retrieval of data, driving operational efficiency and clear communication across teams. You will also be instrumental in ensuring that all permits, including those for high-risk activities, are completed accurately and on time to minimise disruption and ensure the safety of the centre.

    You will have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment, to act decisively with an uncompromising eye for detail and to ensure the Centre compliance is presented to the highest standards of safety so the Centre can operate safely and legally.

  • Environmental Services Assistant – External

    40hrs The Environmental Services Assistant – External works in collaboration with other team members to clean and maintain the Trafford Centre. You are responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of specifically agreed areas to the required standards. Delivering deep cleaning, maintenance cleaning and scheduled cleaning of the external areas within the Centres perimeter.

    You will be expected to operate a large variety of cleaning and waste equipment and machines (after training) including compactors, balers and vehicular machinery. Sorting and transporting waste from collection points, separate and compact appropriately whilst adhering to the Centre’s recycling policy.

    You will have the ability to work both individually and within a team. You will be capable of carrying out your duties without constant supervision and be proactive in ensuring your area of responsibility meets the highest possible standards of cleanliness and safety. You should have excellent attention to detail, high standards and a desire to do your job to the best of your abilities always presenting a professional, friendly image.

  • Finance & Operations Business Partner

    40hrs The Finance & Operations Business Partner role plays a vital role in working closely with the Centre Director and Surveyor in ensuring leadership of the Centre’s administration functions and providing accurate, timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The role leads the Centre’s Management Suite operation and facilities, supports the Heads of Operations, Facilities, Marketing and Operations Managers in managing departmental budgets and expenditure and identifies trends in data and insights. This position is essential in overseeing Service Charge and Non-Recoverable Income Financials, including month-end results, forecasts, and annual budgets, while also managing accounts payable processes to maintain strict adherence to policy, alignment to Savills and Client requirements whilst facilitating timely transactions.

    With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, the role collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders; including budget holders, auditors, suppliers and head office teams—to uphold financial accuracy and compliance. Through these efforts, the role helps to drive the Centre’s financial and operational objectives, ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment with strategic business goals to deliver efficiency through the Service Charge and drive value for occupiers.

    You will take responsibility for overseeing and supporting the implementation of financial protocols, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met across the Centre. This includes monitoring, reviewing, and maintaining up-to-date records of financial activities, liaising with various departments, and contractors to ensure adherence to all relevant guidelines. You will also ensure that information is provided for all necessary financial checks, inspections, and audits in a timely and efficient manner, in line with financial regulatory standards, working closely with the Surveyor and Client Accounting teams.

    You will have strong financial acumen, a data and insights driven mindset and an inquisitive mind, as well as the ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment, to act decisively as well as ensuring that the Centre’s financial controls are presented to the highest standards. You’ll lead administrative functions, managing the operation of the Management Suite; including facilities, room availability, office supplies and the environment for all Centre teams and stakeholders, making improvements and being empowered to set an exceptional first impression to occupiers, visitors and stakeholders.
