Celebrate the festive season with our festive fairground, SNOWSTORM 3 NORTHERN LIGHTS spectacular ice show, winter ice rink - all outside The Great Hall. Plus, in the Centre you'll find a very exciting NEW traditional grotto!
Not to mention festive flicks, delicious food and live entertainment to get you into the Christmas spirit!
Plus, with free parking and a host of sensational shops, food, and gifting options inside at Trafford Centre, it’s the perfect destination to celebrate the Christmas season.

Step into the immersive wonderland of The Grotto this Christmas, a land filled with wonder and enchantment where dreams come true and letters to Santa require a very special delivery. Families will journey through the Candy Cane Land and Enchanted Forest in search of Santa’s Merry Mailroom. Assisted by Santa's Elves, challenges and tasks await them on this journey, whilst they embark on a magical adventure to deliver their very own letter to Santa in his cosy cabin. Once you’ve met Santa, enjoy a sweet treat or hot drink from the magical markets.

Get in the festive spirit at Tinsel Town fairground. From the exhilarating Snow Jets to the thrilling Starflyer and Don Sapo, as well as plenty of family friendly rides for the little ones, there’s something for everyone. Plus, VOID the brand new fairground attraction for 2023, which promises an unparalleled experience for thrill-seekers.
Festive food and drinks will also be available including traditional bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, donuts, crepes, mulled wine and even a chocolate fountain.
Also returning is a magical Christmas Tree bar, crowned by a magnificent Christmas tree standing over 50ft tall - the perfect spot for a family selfie.
Fairground entry is only £2 if pre-booked online, or £2.50 on the day, with ride tokens available to purchase separately. Tinsel Town fairground entry does not include an ice skating session, this can be booked separately.
Embark on a 45 minute ice-skating adventure across a shimmering 25m x 20m covered ice rink.
In association with Hits Radio, listen to festive hits whilst you whizz around the ice, underneath a canopy of twinkling lights.
Tickets for ice skating and the Tinsel Town fairground must be purchased separately. Ice skating tickets are £12.50 for adults and £10 for children off-peak / £15 for adults and £12.50 for children peak, for a 45-minute ice skating session.
tHE BIG WHEEL IS BACK!

Enjoy Trafford Centre from above with a trip on our big wheel. You’ll be able to enjoy all the glittering lights and sights as your soar above the ground at a staggering 55 metres high. Enjoy incredible views and a little piece of magic this Christmas.
24 November – 1 January | Outside the Great Hall
Don’t miss this sensational ice-skating show live from the heated theatre big top, on 200 sq. meters of shimmering real ice. Be wowed by this all new production featuring 16 ice skaters, international circus stars, amazing special effects, and the return of the massive ICE BEARS!

Our busy elves will turn your cherished gifts into beautifully wrapped masterpieces – all we ask for is a small donation to our centre charities.
Charity gift wrapping will be available daily from 14 – 21 December in the Great Hall.

Late night shopping & Christmas opening hours
The countdown to Christmas is on, and with late night shopping at Trafford Centre every weeknight until 10pm – and until 11pm from 18 – 22 December - you’ll be able to take everything off your list!
