Trafford Centre Valentine’s Day 25 competition Terms and Conditions UK

By taking part in the incentive giveaway, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please also read our Privacy Policy which explains further how we handle any data you share with us when you enter into the challenge.

THE PROMOTER

The promoter of the Valentine’s Day competition is Trafford Centre Limited of Trafford Centre, Manchester, M17 8AA.

HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION

  1. There is no purchase necessary to participate in the prize draw.
  2. Customers that find a Trafford Centre gift certificate within the centre on 14th February 2025 will win a £500 gift card.
  3. There are 6 x prizes in total.
  4. To retrieve your prize, customers should take their Trafford Centre gift certificate to Guest Services on Lower Regent Crescent and swap it for a £500 gift card.
  5. Multiple entries are not permitted.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. The giveaway is open to UK residents only, the prize must be claimed by an adult aged 18 years or over, save for:

a) employees of the Promoter and agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally connected with the challenge or its administration; or

b) members of the households of (a) above.

  1. Individuals below the age of 18 cannot participate in the giveaway.
  2. By entering the giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may ask you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the giveaway.
  3. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the challenge.

THE PRIZE

  1. To claim the Prize the participant must take the Trafford Centre gift certificate to Guest Services on Lower Regent Crescent and swap it for a £500 gift card.
  2. The prize only includes:
    • One £500 Trafford Centre gift card
  3. The prize is not negotiable, refundable, transferable or exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  4. Trafford Centre reserves the right to change the Prizes listed for a suitable alternative if necessary.

    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
  5. As far as is permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence), or the breach of statutory duty or any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by any person/s suffered directly or indirectly from participating in this Competition. Nothing in these terms shall limit the Promoter’s liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.

    DATA PROTECTION
  6. Any personal information provided by you with the challenge entry may be held and used only by the promoter or its agents and suppliers or any other relevant third party to administer the challenge. Further information on the parties whom we share your personal data with can be found in our privacy policy.

    GENERAL
  8. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so as the Promoter may determine in its sole discretion.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to change the prize offered to one of equivalent value if circumstances prevent the original prize from being available.
  11. If the Promoter has suspicions or knowledge that you may be involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, it reserves the right to disqualify you and any related entrant and the eligibility to win the prize will be forfeited.
  12. The Promoter may disqualify any individual/s using the promotion in a way in which they deem inappropriate at its sole discretion (inappropriate use of the Promotion includes, without limitation, collusion, manipulation and engagement in any other activity that may give the entrant carrying out that activity an unfair advantage over other entrants).
  13. The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this Promotion, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
