We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to The Trafford Centre on 2ndDecember.
We’ve been hard at work preparing for the safe return of shoppers and staff and we have extra precautions in place to meet the government’s new tier 3 guidelines. The strong safety measures that everyone’s used to will continue, like one-way systems, regular deep cleans and capacity limits to ensure safe social distancing. Visitors must wear a face covering which covers their nose and mouth whilst inside the centre and within stores, unless exempt.
We’ve also extended our opening hours so some of our larger stores will open from 9am Monday-Saturday, including Selfridges, John Lewis, Primark, M&S and Debenhams, offering people the chance to tick everything off their Christmas list early. Visitors can also take advantage of later weekday evening shopping as stores will be open until 10pm.
Our retailers are receiving our full support and we’re looking forward to welcoming them back on 2 December. Local restrictions mean that food outlets are serving takeaway and click and collect food only, and leisure venues are unable to open at the moment. Visitors should check the individual brands’ websites for opening details before they travel to avoid disappointment.
We’d encourage visitors to plan their shopping trip carefully and dress for the weather as they might have to queue outside at busier times. As Greater Manchester is in the higher tier 3 category, visitors need to be mindful of the government rules on travelling into the area and meeting anyone from outside their household or support bubble at the centre.
Please help us keep everyone safe during the festive season and follow the advice of our staff. We’d like to thank everyone in advance for doing their part.
